Back in December of 2022 I had purchased a larger battery for my son to use from a different company and it was a disaster. That battery from day 1 took forever to charge. The size of the battery was 26,800mAh and it would take sometimes up to 3 days to fully charge. It could only be charged via Micro-USB and the Micro-USB cable it came with was damaged. It also only had 4 indicator lights on it to let you know how much battery power you had which made it very difficult to know how soon it needed charged. I decided on prime day to buy my son a new battery and happened to find this 18,000mAh one on sale for a really good price. I was hesitant to buy it because the price was so good but after reading the reviews I decided to give it a shot. I'm so happy that I did! This battery is great! We've been using it now for a couple weeks and haven't had a single issue with it. I absolutely love that it has a digital display so I always know exactly how much battery power is left. The display is a little dimmer which is a good thing because it doesn't use as much battery power to light it up. The numbers show up white so it's super easy to see. I love the fact that it charges via a USB type C but it also has a port on the side for Micro-USB if needed. It has two USB type A ports so you can charge two devices at once but you can also use the USB type C port to charge a device since it's an input/output port. I use a 40W wall charger and a USB type C cable to charge the battery and it charges from 0 to 100% in 4 to 5 hours. It might be smaller in capacity than the previous battery I purchased from a different company but considering the charging time is vastly shorter, I can actually use this battery far more than the larger one. We love that it's light weight enough that my son can easily carry it around or it can fit in your pocket. I love the sleek finish on the display side of the battery and that it has a textured finish on the other side so it doesn't slide out of your hand or off of a table easy. I am so pleasantly surprised with how great this battery is and plan to buy more in the future! Definitely worth purchasing!
