Used this saw with a 6 battery. Cut limbs for more than an hour. Plenty of power. Only used 1/4 of the battery. I started new with an Oregon chain.I had purchased a 4" battery chain saw for branches and was completely satisfied by ease of use and battery life. I had a half dozen 20 year old spruce trees that died and needed to be removed. I used the 4" to remove the side branches and then this saw to take the trunk down at ground level and then saw fireplace length logs. Used it all morning off and on and I gave out before the battery on the saw did so can't really say how long it lasts. I would recommend for household garden use 100%Works great for taking out little pine trees! A very sharp blade was surprised Oregon does make good chains but normally i don't see as large of chips! didn't check the raking depth on the chain but something must be different about this little thing as it cuts like butter. At least on thick fresh wood.Due to the slow speeds if you try to cut a HARDWOOD that is dry or branches it is quite bouncy which is expected for the slow speed. even worse you will find it impossible to trim a 1-inch fresh flimsy branch as it will just bounce all over. Has its uses though for fresh soft pine and that's about it.The 2AH battery works for about 60 cuts with breaks in between.got this to get away from the stench of gas and oil but still uses bar oil.. found out its the bar oil that causes the horrible taste in my mouth, seems i could had used food or vegetable though as the chain speed is so slow it can't even use up the bar oil properly it gunks up and will need cleaned or wiped off the bar eventually and around the chain drive.Has its uses no finicking with high and low idle jets when increasing altitude more than 1,500ft from adjusted level.I grew up here in Kentucky cutting a lot of wood with my Father and we used to even sell it. However, that was with a large bulky Stihl chainsaw, but it was required for that kind of work. For the work I am doing cleaning up things around my yard and cutting smaller trees; this chainsaw really delivers and it doesn't wear you down like the older heavier gas powered chainsaws. The only drawback which I don't even see as a negative is making sure to keep your eye on the chain oil compartment as not to run out of oil. I cleaned out the remaining hedge in my yard that had grown to almost small tree size and it did an awesome job.As well I have cleaned up quite a few small trees on my home property with this model and so far no major problems. For someone who had experience with the larger chainsaws doing the work we did growing up; I can tell you that this one is amazing for its size.As well it is very quite and even some of my neighbors didn't realize I was using a chainsaw until they came out their houses. So you have to be pretty close to hear the running of the saw compared to hearing the older gasoline types even if you were in your house next door.I am very happy with mine and if you want a lot of running time I would suggest buying a second battery as having only one will run down doing a lot of work before you even know it. You won't be sore either from using this one!Disappointed. I was excited to get this and clear some things on my moms property. The box appeared opened previously and was beat up. I wasn’t going to open it but decided to see if it was just the box. This was previously owned and things were in zip lock bags. Was borrowing a neighbor s all the time ! Finally bought one for me !!! Works great , super easy to use , light and easy to get yard trees trimmed up fastThis little saw is a jewel. I’m a 64 yr old female who likes being outside working around my yard and gardens that are surrounded by 35 ac.s of woods. I don’t like lugging a lot of weight, noise, or the smell of gas so this little saw is perfect. The battery lasts longer on a charge longer than I usually can. It has cut any tree I’ve tackled, but I’m not a logger and not running a marathon., but it’s all I need. The price was so good, and I own a commercial Stihl tree trimming saw that’s in the 6 lb neighborhood but it’s just to easy to grab this Green Works 10” and cut, all the while not getting a headache and not becoming stinky. I’ve used it so much I bought a second for back up when I saw the price go down. No Problems with the saw or chains and I’ve used the first one for 3 or so months already. I love them! This little saw is a real beast for a battery powered saw. I bought it for taking off limbs from my trees. I live in the middle of the woods and the trees around my house have gotten so tall that I have had to start removing some of them and trimming others to get some sunlight. Its light enough to attach to my climbing harness and haul up the tree with me. The battery life is more than enough to do all the trimming I want to do up in the tree and then cut up everything I've taken down on the ground if I don't feel like hauling out my big gas powered saw. Its quiet which was nice too! I highly recommend.my wife used this all winter on our land and loves it. works good for small stuff and battery lasts quite a while and charges quicklyil manquait le chargeur ,j ai dû retourner la boîte et attendre le remboursement.Dice que viene con batería y no viene con bateria.
